Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 IS 'L'


Update: Well, my lens purchase plans have changed. I talked it over with my wife, and think I'm going to go for the 'big gun', the Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L with IS (image stabilization) which I hope to have in my hands in late May. This is the lens I've dreamed of owning since seeing the magnificent results that my buddy Johnathan was able to achieve with his. Here are a couple of sample images taken by Johnathan with this magnificent lens!

Nice. I use the shoot and sort method of getting good shots. I'm lusting after one of those large lenses that need their own support, for wildlife shots, don't remember what they're called...I'd like to do some bird shots from our backyard.

Hey Tim!

You know, unfortuantely my wife already had plans for it That was part of the 'deal' to allow me to get the new 30D.

I think thats the same lens my step dad uses heres a link to my blog where you can see the results of it: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=735213, it takes very nice pictures.
