Tram what are you thinking man?! Don't be putting any ideas in his head! Don't you think he is gone enough already and in enough danger without all of that kind of talk. I think he is fine just were he is, actually I would like it better if he was home instead.

Ummm, Tram, No, probably not gonna assess for Special Forces. Im too old for that stuff now. I need to kick back and just fly Hawks and have fun for my next 4.5 years until I retire. Yup... and I will retire! At 37 years old. Cant beat that with a stick.

Absolutly right paintz. My enlisted days or road marching, hard long PT sessions, maintaining trucks, etc... is what has worn me out. I am much less "physical" these days for sure. The biggest problem I have is a nerve in my hip that causes quite a bit of "discomfort" when Im in the cockpit for longer than 4 hours or so. Liveable, just painful.

I got the name on RCG when I stocked up on balsa etc. planning to build by candle light if necessary. I have a newer home with all the hurricane shutters etc. The wind started and the rain started we still had power and then the weatherman forecast 15 feet surge of water. Our home is at 9 feet. Suddenly we went to plan "B" and weathered it out in a high rise. So much for model aviation!

I must comment you sure get close to the rock walls (coming thru the valley) scared me more than a hurricane.

Best,
Hurricane Larry
