But this thread is in the Micro rtf forum. So most likely that's the type of planes most familiar to most posters here. Just trying to head you where the most experience in the type of plane you are asking about can be found.

#16110 Report

Hi all just wondering if the Sbach 342 3D takes the same batteries as the Beast 3D??? Also just wondering what the Sbach is like to fly. I am thinking of getting one as company for my beast
Sbach and Beast use exact same batteries. The Beast gets less flight time by about 20% I suppose due to drag from extra wing.
The Sbach is a great companion plane to the Beast. They are my two favorites and fly the Beast first then the Sbach. The Sbach is way faster and has more vertical. They are so different which makes taking both to the field so interesting. The Beast keeps me on my toes as I lose altitude so quickly in a failed maneuver. Sbach on my toes as it is so fast. Install the included side force generators, SFG"s, and it is a very different plane. Big thing for me is that the Sbach is way more durable than the Beast. The crash and walk over to the crumpled Beast is a somber thing. I know there is going to be a bit of repair. The crash and walk over to the Sbach is more of a "ha ha, man that was a bad one". Although, I have brought the Sbach home in 4 pieces.
Go for it. The UMX Sbach is a highly recommended and really fun plane.
Mike

Probably, but there are such things as stupid questions.

Like this one:

I just got my learner's permit, is the 911 Turbo a good car?

Are there any BNF's that come close to the performance of the discontinued E-flite Extra 300 in small indoor venues?

I've gotten spoiled by the UM Stryker 180 and I'm wondering.. What other plane in this class (parkzone umx 2-cell bl) comes close or could possibly beat it in terms of heart pounding speed and thrills?

I've flown the UMX Mig-15 after flying my Stryker and it feels like a boat and the flight times are shorter by a good bit. I'm wondering if the Sbach would come close to the stryker in terms of performance?

I have both and its no comparison. I love the Sbach and never fly the stryker.

I put on the SFG's and fly around in knife edge.

Unlike the Stryker, the Sbach can land, taxi and take off and It lands easier, with more precision than a just about any 4 channel.

So are you saying the SBACH is faster or do you just like it because it has wheels?
