F/S-- 1500mah Lithium ion packs with smart Lith ion/poly chargers- NEW LOW Shipping!

Hi everyone,

I am getiing more bulk Lithium ion packs next week so Iím running the sale again!!!
For more info, Hereís a link to the first sale:

The batteries are brand new SONY 18650's and Panasonic 18650's. They are rated a minimum of 1400mah(Panasonic) and the Sony's are rated a minimum of 1300mah. In reality, these cells tend to average 1500mah. From my reasearch on the web the actual Mah output is 100-200mah MORE!

The packs weigh 3oz and will power up to 4-4.5A (that seems to be the consensus, but my experience has never led me to try them in anything with that draw) I have used them in a GWS cub with a 100C (speed280) and loved it-ROG in 7 ft, loops, better wind capability,etc...and 40 min flight time..in comparison the 830 qualcomms did get very warm in this set-up and started to shut down. These 1500 cells were still COOL after 40mins!

** SOLD OUT!! Brand New SONY QN-12DC rapid car chargers.

BRAND NEW A/C Qualcomm dual port charger-another smart charger but A/C operated. Will also charge lith poly.
PRICES: NEW Clearout PRICE!!!!!!

***A single pack consists of 2 cells w/ protection circuit***

ALL SONY Car Chargers are SOLD OUT .

-(6)1500mah packs +AC Charger =$30 + 6 shipping (Extra 1500 pks $2 ea!!)

-SINGLE 1500 mah pks = $4/pk

- Anyone interested in 10+ packs still in cell case, I'll give a great deal!

Great deals on 10 or more unopened packs! Pm or Email me!

********* WHAT'S LEFT!!! *************

- 6 Qualcomm 830mah packs-
- 60+ 1500mah packs left

NOTE: Some of the Sony packs are containing the graphite core cells ('GR' designation) These cells are good for a minimum 1600mah+++. If making 3-cell packs...do not mix cells.

This is all thats left...no more are coming in...

I haven't been able to figure out what I got from you last fall and what I might be able to use THAT equipment in, but I'm really interested in THIS offer you are repeating from December. I don't have a CLUE as to what these batteries and the various chargers will do for me; could I use them in a Slow Stick to advantage, or in a Wingo/ Soarstar? I've made a small meat tray plane I'd love to try sometime; could these packs be used in it? Sorry for all thse questions, and hope to hear from you! Glen Priest

Questions Answered

Hi guys,

I've had some questions as to how these packs come to you. I DO take them out of the cell packs for you. That way you get only the BEST packs. I keep the packs that rip, break, or are just really glued in too well. I then wrap the packs in plastic and ship them in a box with packing peanuts via priority mail.

BTW- you do get really good at opening these packs after about 100 - The downside is that you can't feel your fingertips for a week.

NOTE: If anyone has REAL problems soldering, I can probably help you out wiring the packs!

Mark, I am definitely a NOVICE solderer, so while I can generally get most simple wiring jobs done OK, I might need to take your offer on some soldering support. My main question continues to be how I would use these packs. I have a stock Zagi, a Sky Scooter, a Wingo, an unbuilt Electra Jet, a home built meat tray special, a Slow Stick. etc. Would these packs be appropriate for any or all of these planes? Thanks for any info. Glen Priest

The 1500's weigh 3 oz per pack.. EPS 100's have no problem as well as many other 280speed ships. If you want to run IPS motors, use the 830's...1500's are definately useable though.

The planes you listed seem to pull too many amps for a single pack. 2 in parallel could draw 9A though

Each lithium cell is 3.6V...so each pack is 7.6V(8.4 fully charged)...Some people use a 3 cell pack, but you would be at 10.8V!

More wiring info coming

For everyone asking,

I will add new wiring info to the set-up post in the battery forum sometime this week (I'm waiting on supplies).

I will show you how to remove the protection circuit from the packs and put it inline with the charger--fly w/o circuit.

Also, as many have asked, how to make 3-cell packs you can use with this charger--yes you can use this charger for 3 cell packs BUT you have to do it this way!!!!!

I will let everyone know when its posted!

Thanks for all the emails!!

I'll try this again! (Our hayseed ISP and constant discoes...) Are you suggesting that I could use two of your packs together in flying my Sky Scooter and Slow Stick , (and or Zagi) and get good duration out of very light weight and inexpensive packs? And how much would it cost to recieve packs ready to charge , and how much for an AC charger appropriate to these packs? SORRY for so danged many questions, but I just know NOTHING about this new battery theory and practice. (Or the old also, for that matter!) Thanks again! Glen Priest
