Ed Couch in Dallas Hospital

Don't know if this is the place to discuss, but Ed Couch, who is a regular contributor to this forum is in the hospital for a diabetic problem that got to the point he had to go in to get it under control. I haven't told him I am posting this, so I won't give out any particulars or his location. Not that there would be anything wrong with location, but I think he needs to be as rested as possible right now. I thought you could be thinking of him (as in prayer) while he is recouperating. I visited with him today and he said he will likely be there another 2 weeks. He would rather be in his garage building or out flying, I can tell you that for sure. LBJ

Richard Ng talked to Ed on the phone late last week. He is doing better and will hopefully be out of the hospital sometime next week.

I am back home after over 35 days in hospital due to complications of diabetes resulting in gangrene just left of family jewels. As one said centuries ago they got their "pound of flesh" and I got the scars to prove it. Still very weak at this time but got home late last night. Already been out to shop and just to set in my old chair made me feel so much better. I've got a few things on the shelf to build and hopefully can get started this weekend if I can keep my head up for a while. I won't be flying for a couple more weeks but hope to get to field or Stars game in a week or so. Thanks to all for the kind words.
