kin'Brilliant Build Pics (PU-RT)

hello all

This is The Ron Broughton Kin' brilliant

This is a very similar model to the Half Pipe. Built the "Super Ronik" Model way. Golf Shafts, Solid Steel Spar Joiners, Split wing.

Wing span 60", Thin Asspect wing.
Balasted should be more than 2Kg.

I will post more picks as I go on.

This is being built for DSing

Andy. Thanks for the correction. Have Fixed Ron Broughton name spelling.

I have now finished gooping. Added 2 extra coats to the leading edge for some extra bounce.
Total of 6 Coats.
Struggling to source a Jeti 4 receiver. All i have found so far is Alls hobbies at 25.

Next steps.
Finish Ailerons (Sand), fit and cover.
Did not bother posing any pics because it all still looks the same.

P.S. Who's going to curbar this weekend?

Hello All
Started covering today. First time using Solartex. So far I do think it is the best covering I have used. Another tip I also used was a bit of Spray adhesive, Let it dry throughly. When covering the second side, apply some with an earbud to the overlap area.

Only question is what colour trim should I use? Orange, Green or both?

I'd go blue trim on yellow, green trim on blue.

Not sure, but I think it's probably safest not to put all four of those colours together in the same photo.....

F Kin'Brilliant

Hello Steve
No I have not yet seen the vid. Will watch later, I have a build bug and want to finnish the Kin' Brilliant.
Where / where are you flying this weekend.

P.S. Still not sure about the colours. I was thinking of gooping after covering to stop the covering peeling.

nearly there

I was hoping to finish today and maden tomorrow.
Guess not
Still have not got a received, There is a jeti 5 mpd on the way, but I have heard bad reports about them.
To finish I would still like a final goop layer, receiver, balance and go.
