Yeah it does get a bit chilly up there. and those poor crew chiefs on the door guns freeze in the wind.

Thanks Azarr. Just dont pile one into the ground like I did at the fall fly in last year! I stuck that sucker into the ground about 3" strait up.

That seems to be a very hard seat. Why not use a flash so we can see outside?

Yeah, the seats are not exactly comfortable. When we are flying here, with our body armor, we take the seat back padding out to give us more room for the cyclic. Otherwise, ammo pouches and what not are in the way.

As for seeing outside and the flash... well, that day I was flying with a Major, who is an XP (Experimental Test Pilot). I wasnt about to give him instructions on using my camera correctly. Especially since he probably has more hours ground taxiing than I do flying.

Pics of the "local terrain" are coming... Im in right now from a flight, took some pics, and Im going back out in a few... I'll get some more.
