c40-12s CC35 esc help please

Hi. I'm installing a c40-12s in my Corona. When I tested the motor I realized that it is turning the wrong way. I've soldered the two black wires together (motor and esc), the two red wires and the yellow and white wires together.

Can anyone tell me which wires to switch to change the polarity?

Also, I decided to try Sermos connectors. They seem easier to get apart. Any thoughts on these?

Thanks, Mike

Just switch any two wires and the direction of rotation will reverse. Sermos connectors are a good choice.

Hi...

I initially set up my hacker the same way and I'm having the same problem. When you say.."switch any two wires" basically I can switch the location.. say... of the yellow wire with the black wire on my Hacker motor and this will fix it? I wont need to switch any wires on the ESC side?? Thanks..

I really worry when people say "just switch any two wires" because you know somebody will swap the battery leads...

I usually say "just switch any two motor wires".

ok.. i know I'm gonna sound kinda dumb..but I just wanna make sure ..just spent 150 bucks on a motor and I dont want to screw it up.... I dont have to swap the wires where they are connected to the motor?, just unsolder 2 of them from the motor connector (i have zero loss conn) and swap their locations??? This is how I understand it.

If you're using the Astroflight 3-pin zero-loss connectors on the motor, then you don't need to unsolder anything.

Just unplug the connector, turn it 180 degrees, and plug it back in. This will swap pins 1 and 3 which will reverse the motor direction.
