FlyFly Mirage 2000 maiden

I don't claim any credits for the camera work but will plead guilty to 3 landing attempts before getting it back on the ground.

It actually does fly pretty nice. Turned out it didn't need the up trim I'd added before taking off. That's what made for the radical climb out. It does have good torque/thrust, too.
A lot of the flight (much missed in the video) was at about half throttle saving my battery & motor. Seems to cruise pretty good there around 50-60 mph and would guess it makes close to 90 wide open. Don't know how long my cheapie motor would live running like that though. It's only rated for 50 amps constant and 90 max burst. At full throttle on 5s my watts up says 70 amps and a little over 1100 watts.

I'm still going over on the Friday the 7th and may be bringing a Cermark 16 back home with me unless somebody else grabs it before then. Sure do wish somebody would come up wanting my Minnow before then. My hanger is getting crowded and may have to offer up the Morrisey Bravo before it's all done.

ya I have the hangar problem here to but I just can't seem to sell anything, alot of the planes would be hard to ship and I'd hate to see them damaged.

I understand what you're saying there. It's tough enough to ship a small one, let alone something the size of the Minnow or Bravo that's already pre built.

I finally got the website issue resolved (actually found a work around on my own) today. The rest of video (I shot) that day can be found here.

You'd have to see the Duellist that was there to fully appreciate just how fast it was going. I was impressed. There's some other pretty good clips on that page too.
Nick Ziroli's scaled down (70 mm) electric version of his "Turbinator", Dave Carter's Violett King Cat (turbine) etc.
