Micro Autogyro First Successful Flight!
Hi All, Success finally! Last night my son and I flew my latest micro AG attempt and finally got one to fly!
The video shows it's flying characteristics. I dug through my spare parts bin and wound up using an IR Avion RX and TX, a Micro Invent actuator, a Minium Cessna motor and gearbox and a 50mah Picco z battery! It has plenty of power and will actually loop if full power is applied as seen in the video! The specs are length 150mm, Rotor 240x65mm, AUW 7.8 grams. The design is influenced by Al Foot's autogyros and I have a 5 gram brushless on order to build his BigMicro model. Anyway, it feels good to finally get one to fly successfully and I'm sure I'll be building more! Bill
