That turned out sweet Rodger,

The stealth flat black with orange tips looks great. It looks like it fly’s very well and Brent makes it look easy.

Ops, that is a mean green. Great pic’s below and fantastic in flight pics. Most excellent Rodger and Claus!!!

If I'm not mistaken, it is actually dark green, and then Rodger had later added the orange trim to help with visibility.

Unless of course he's repainted it since the last time I saw it last year.

The Draken flew very well this weekend ...i need a new 5s batt ,we had one great pass on 5s and this 6lbs + plane had unlimited vert ,very impressed with the power and sound of the Alloy fan from Efflux R/C .hopefully some vid will be posted.

Claus hope you like all the pics and vids ...i know you are mad cause the wm400 is not in there . im testing this fan for my F-20 . i may get a Velocity 3600 kv motor to try as it is longer than the mega im using ,hoping the velocity R/C motor has more torque. what kind of amps can the 3600 take .

Air sally.
I do not mind testing other fans, That is the only way we really can compare how they preform in the air.
It is the reason that i have made the slingjet V, with lots of room inside. and now you can make a new fuselage i a couple of days.
the nacelle will make sure every fan works under the same conditions.
Frank 40 is my friend and he have the 70 mm alufan.
and i have borrowed a schübeler 70 mm fan
right now i have motors 2900 and 3200 kv in the long can. i like high volts better, than high amps.
the chimera is flown by the alu fan.

i had to change for noise reasons too at my home field ...we have houses with horses close by and the club was going to outlaw jets so i made the move. the 9 blade really load the motor ,so im looking at different motors too to find one that does'nt draw too many amps.i would have to say the WM400 flew just as well as this fan ,with maybe a bit more stactic thrust .but to be fair this fan has more fsa so the ducts are not the best for this fan.i ma really happy to have all these pics and vid added to the thread for all to enjoy.i hope to get some more flying on this ,brent said it has a nice flat glide for a delta ,and he brings the nose up and lands by playing with the throttle.it sits down real nice on the tail wheels .i really think this needs to be the next Velocity R/C kit....but maybe in a 90mm not sure .wish i had more time.
