Alinement of wings.

to have the wing sitting as a straight line on both sides, I use this old trick from my day as carpenter.

my plug was about 2" long i think ,it allows you some adj as to where you want your motor/fan.mine needs the motr a bit further fwd of where you had it shown on your drawing ,to keep the batt out of the cockpit.

Air Sally,Claus,

Whats the average layup time for this style of ducting, i mean making the plugs, filling, sanding, sanding more, the waxing the pva, to the final product?

Im getting into glass more and more with my builds, and Im thinking of tackling some ducting on my next project. Just want kinda of know what im getting myself into and how deep its going to go into my wallet. :P

I have seen that scratchbuilding isnt as cheap as just going out and buying a airframe.
But who wants the same airframe that a dozen other flyers at the local field have. Its one of the motivating factors that drives me to my creations

So approx time/budget would be some great info.

Making ducts

I have spend 12 hours or so.. plus drying time on this three parts.
to keep the glass in tight contact with the plug I use vacuum bags sealed with my foil iron and wax around the tubes.
vacuum comes from a simple fish-tank pump where we revised the pump direction.
