The main problem is that I do not have money enough to buy materials and send it to you.
after I got on pension my income have been 1/3 of what I had before.
But one thing is to make full glass fibre things ... my way of building is much stronger to the weight it have.

well let me know what it might cost, id like to make a plug with panel lines ect, and perhaps even do composite wings/tails.

claus, how hard would it be to size up to 60" long? id like to be able to use 90 or 100mm fans, and be able to carry up to 12s. the size you mentioned earlier is a hair small. let me know how much it would be to get all the parts, perhaps wing/stab cores as well...

the tecnics behind the draken now turned into the cougar.

I had to test the concept with much shorter wire and more angles possible.
but it is some huge parts for that plane. the angle is 10 "
but I do have to work some days to have all the drawings ready for CNC.

Back to Draken II

it is next to impossible to make a wing that much tapered.
there is over-burn in the tip but I compensated that in the drawing, and the rest with a little sanding.

Draken II

experimenting to do it simple .
the first wing was cut with very low amps/ volts. The wire sacked.
then I tried higher amps, and got more burn.
Then I tried a fan on the short side to cool down the wire a little it works partly.
might need more force on the airflow.

just a little progress

those dowels are mostly for alignment, but it will not hurt the assamblement
the holes are done in the fuselage first.
that way you get a good alignment.

Ive been drawing out the center lines from the cad templates onto the foam once each station is cut. This looks much easier.

Claus are you using white glue mixed with Lite spackle to glue the sections? And what is the ratio?

unclecrash.
no it is Gorilla glue. ( PU -glue) it hardens normally by the moisture in the air or in the wood.
it is hard to tell the ratio as the spackle is pasta like and the PU-glue is like the hardener in epoxy.. 60 : 40 will be a good starting point.
