I think the query is more likely to be about the International Rescue Thunderbird Two, designed by "Brains" from an original concept by Gerry Anderson and piloted by Virgil Tracy.

Unfortunately TB2 is so highly classified that drawings are not available to the general public. This hasn't stopped a certain enterprising UK e-flier to build and fly a sp400 pusher version of the big green mean rescue machine as featured in a recent issue of QEFI. I'll hunt out the details when I get a chance and post them here.

You mean this one Brian? As you say, so highly classified that Kevin Saunders had to buy a kid's toy to use as the basis for his flying model. Flies great, but it does need a gyro for stability.

Do a thread search...I know there was a thread on site that had links to the "Thunderbirds-Go" site with some nice pics...plans will be a reach...but pics would possibly be enough. You could do a google search too{}. happy hunting and hope it works out....I'll strive for a more easy to do project, like a flying Mach V!{Go speed racer Go! I just dated myself least I caught howdy doody reruns}

The above referenced a thread in jets, about the same timeframe.

That's the one Gordon - of course it was the excellent Electric Flight-UK magazine where I saw the picture and as soon as I can lay my hands on that copy ......

Here's a link to the BEFA website picture of TB2 pilot Kevin Saunders with his creation

Has any body built one of those fancy jets that "Destiny Angel" flew? I think it was in Captain Scarlet.
