Jay the Weasel is a sweet model. Big bucks and shipping a 2 metre one piece wing will kill you. The Terminator is the carbon DS version but in all honesty you wont blow up the lighter Weasel unless your are probably going over 150 which is do able in Vic but I think coming from a Speedo 1200 I dont think your likely to be upset with the speed of any moldie.
Look to Falcon gliders. Call Andrew and he might have some cheper alternatives. Dont rule out 1.5 metre. His Jauger is awesome and I believe there are other things he doest advertise up his sleve.

The Wizdom of Seabreeze

Most of you slope trash know of (and use) Seabreeze for wind prediction. SOme of you know my distrust of it and my preference to cross check with other weather services. Here's why:

The BoM (extrapoloate from Fri) and Weatherzone (Sunday) synoptic charts both show good SW winds from Friday through past Sunday. All of the prior patterns and trends are consistant with this prediction, and I'm prepared to create significant amounts of CO2 (ie frive a long way) to get to the right flying spot this Sunday.

On the other hand, Seabreeze is predicting light North-easterlies!

This says a lot about the predictive models that Seabreeze use. So ... take anything beyond a 4 day outlook with a Big grain of salt.

The (ex) Bureau Guy.

I agree, at the moment my forcast model is in dispute with Seabreeze... I am however praying for wind on Sunday. It can rain its arse out, so long as there is WIND!

No, this is the tidal facility, and off limits... South east is at Shoreham windmill. A good East is yet to be found, though Schank may support this.

Some nice pics there Marty. Can relate to the getting bogged caper. Took the Harley, years ago down a sandy track at Harmers Haven Cape Patterson, for a little look see at the ocean. You reckon your Jappa is heavy? Mate it took me about an hour of struggling and dragging that heavy MF around by the front wheel to point it back in the direction I had come. Never did that again!! Catch ya on the slope. Adie. HOO ROO

I have a "pass"!

Billy Hamilton may be coming, plus Manny for some extra special attendance. Billy's salto features in the recent veedo just posted - some nice in plane footage of his crazy antics.

Sam,
watching the weather.

Sam.
