Good Vid of the storm Jarred. Thanks for posting. The Radian was getting punished in those conditions.

I thought id post a pic of our newest local flyer,Mitchell (Fluff nut ninja).
He lives on my street and regularly kicks my ass at Xbox
He has been coming out to watch us fly and DS for awhile now and has a bit of sim time under his belt.
Sat arvo was his first go at flying, scratching around in the 4 knot breeze for 10 minutes or so he went really well. Then on Sunday in better lift he did his first solo launch, flight and landing.by later that afternoon he was busting tricks with the best of them like he's been doing it for ages and even had a go at some basic DS laps in a tiny little zone with the Weasel.Humphrey also had a few laps with his alula.
So from complete noob to inverted flyby's and outside loops, stall turns and pumps, then some rudimentary DS in 24 hours. Go Mitch
After i took my M60 for swimming lessons i have donated it to him as a DS hack so expect some first speeds soon

AWWWWWSSSSOMMMEEEE.

Had the place to my self..blowing a good 20+....only took the warhead..done a million ground scrapping laps, with the occasional leaf touch. very smooth zone with the odd rotor turn in , just to keep it real ,
Probably the quickest laps I've done there in the small zone.. my pocket radar was in my pocket.. and no shooter. 140+ easy. Until the inevitable ,, BANG BOOM ! CRASH!!!!! Cartwheel x3....plop.......bits flying everywhere..... OOOOOHHHHHHH that got to hurt..
On inspection. Bits of fuse tail etc scattered all over the place...carbon x3 fuse.
I pick up the wing , which was covered in earth , where it had tried to dig it way the hell....NOTHING... just 5mm of the tip..NOTHING. Perfect.

Lay up....1x2oz. 1x4oz glass.....solid core....crash at 140+ =.

If it was any other 60inch model you can buy....it defiantly would have been confetti...

Sounds like another sloper on the way mams1. Sounds like he has caught on really quick.

Great report Tim. Thats the second time that some real crash testing has been done and proved a winner.
