It should have got a WR, after the effort that went into manufacturing it's wings. Roger did a very fine job of squeezing the sheet out of 'em!

Skills upgrade?

I need to revert to a poly floater to re-learn control reversal... At least I have a sound theoretical base on rudder modifications. This should help me if I ever progress to an aileron trainer.

That full size looks great. Everybody would have been impressed with the low passes.

The Falco is just about finished, servo covers & detail only. She looks good. 1.8m, glass fuse, glass cover balsa V & carbon wings. ( Swoopdown specials ) I am very happy the way the red paint job turned out on the wing. I blended a scarlet on the leading edge into a deeper red on the trailing edge. but photo does not shown it well.

Beechmont looking good for end of week.

I can't yet get over the non-scalie flying pumps at the lighthouse!

Hey Sam,

This is one of the non-scalies with a pop up noise maker. Tyagarah has a grass runway about 10 kilometers to the west.

Not long ago one of the pop ups failed on deployment. Lucky the guy was a good pilot, flying back at Coolamon(another spot we fly), and managed to get back to the ridge, gain hieght, and hook a large thermal to make it back upwind to Tyagarah. He has since sold his DG and quit flying.

I bet that must have been a "moment"... perhaps the inside of the DG was forever stained?
