Surely this post was the instigator: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...postcount=1429

Though I suspect that's not what you mean.

Gee thanks Andy. Make me feel worse than I already do.........

As I PM'd to Bill and others have stated on this forum since my post, it is probably our 'naivity' in calling all bulbous tapered planks a JW and all chevrons a Zagi.

I think we've all learnt a lesson there.

As has also been posted, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and these 2 iconic models have become part of the vernacular 'down-under'.

No "ripping off" of intellectual property was intended.

My apologies for the poor choice of words was forwarded to L2 soon after.

Anything made of foam is classified either a Zagi, JW or Dirty Mole on our slopes.

No no, a Dirty Mole is a term of endearment for a much (and sometimes over) loved Zagi, complete with it's busted arsehole. Refer earlier in this thread.

It seems our misunderstanding with Bill has been cleared up and I would like to commend him on his patience and correspondence from afar.
It seems our mystery pm'ers were neither confirmed or denied.
