Any idea how many watts/prop size this will need to fly with a single pusher prop? Just being too lazy to go with the fans.

hi

just in time i draw a plan of the 747-400 (since an half year... )
it will have a wingspan of 106 inches and a wingspan of 95 inches (ca 270x250 cm)...Depron and 4 EDFīs

but this will still take a lot of time
animated of Brettīs plan of his 747 i will first built try the plane in this size
so i scaled the plan of my big fusselage in the size of Brettīs (becase itīs al little bit more "scale" and will take the rest of this plan
it shall be an pusher....
this weak i startet with the building
if interesting i try to post it.....despite my realy bad english..
and if....shall i post it here....or in an new thread in pushers?

greatings from germany

Work in progress

Im starting the build of this 747 from the plans. I was aiming for a larger size, but ill practice on this one

All some 40ish A4 pages are taped together and i will start the depron cutting shortly.
Im starting with the fuselage.
Pictures will follow.

Still need to know where apprx the CG is. i hope Brett can help..
I also have a request for a resize of the plan to a WS around 70-80"

this is great

well i think these plans are really good and i want to get straight to work but i sometimes cant understand the plans for example how does the wing join into the plane, what are the black arrows/triangles at the back, what are the specifications/requirements for the pusher prop, how does the retracting wheels work (ill need more description or views of the setup), and roughly how many sq m/in of depron, ply and balsa will i need. if you tell me this info, i will be able to begin construction and will be glad to post pictures, even videos of the production and the finished product.

thanks heaps,
Tom
