yeah, i know the feeling. In my case usually, when i share something i dont expect anything in return, thats why i share, otherwise i would charge them a fee.

I wanted to build one(f22) for some time now but could get any decent drawings, also stopping me was the jet turbines that wanted to buy but did not have the money so came to built it using electric instead of fuel. Also want to build a b-2. Just finished my cnc rig and planning to get working on them. I was so intrigued by your design and be able to use it, i guess not so i'll do with what i have.

Posting them again.
Please, if you intend to sell this design for profit, just leave. This design is copyrighted by me, and NOT available for manufacturing. If you're here because you love this plane as much as I do and want to build one for yourself. Help yourself. I'm sorry that I cannot be as much help as I would like to be due to time constraints. If you run into something major with the design, let me know and I'll try to get it changed ASAP. Full Set ACAD 2000 dwg Full Set ACAD R14 dwg The file you should download Full Set ACAD 2007 dwg. Includes the 3D ACAD model, along with the flattened parts. |

Nem,
First of all stunning design, this 1 started me scratch building again. I have 2 questions though, 1: there are no fins and stabs on the plans, i don't have 3d cad software so its impossible for me to derive them, could you make me a sheet with them on it. 2: i find the trailing edge a bit thick, is this the way it should be or do i have to sand them sharp before sheeting? here are some pictures how she is going to look if you haven't booked any progress since you last pictures |

FANTASTIC Progress Fly Boy. And Thank you soooooo much for letting me know.
As to your questions, I would try and download a trial copy of Autocad from Autodesk. At the very least you'll be able to see the plans as intended. You should also be able to pick and pull out the specific parts you need. From what I remember I did take out the vertical fins and place the shape next to the plans in 2D format. 2nd question - The trailing edge of what? Not sure if I mentioned it clearly enough, but these plans are a very early beta. They need a lot of work, were never test flown, and I never personally completed a working model. The furthest I got was cutting out the formers for the fuselage. If something doesn't look right, by all means, adjust it. I wish I could help you further, but I haven't looked at this project in sometime and I've moved onto other things at the moment. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/25.4/id473526845?mt=8 I do hope to come back to this when I do have the time though. |

Not a single problem, im happy to share.
I shall try to download a trial when i have my pc fixed from svc host crashes. I ment the wings trailing edge just forgot fins, stabs and even the fuse have trailing edge as well. Here are another 2 pics of her belly, i didn't make vector nozzles because she is already a bit heavy, i don't have or have acces to a cnc so i only cutted the duct holes and not all the tiny windows. I have to mention i builded all from balsa, i remember i've seen yours is/was cutted from plywood. |
