Balancing mine puts the pack toward the nose, and I've never hung a 3s1p pack with just velcro before, usually just the smaller packs. Do you guys have an pictures of how (and where) you are securing yours?? Thanks!
Hy,
this is my solution for the batteries.

Time to bring this thread back to life. After months of procrastinating, I finally got the paint done and the controls installed. All I need to do is add the decals and it's finished. Looking to maiden this on Saturday along with Tomas' F-16 design as well.

I've been waiting for you to finish this bird. I'm counting on some pictures of your beautiful creation once the decals are in place.

And good luck on your double maiden!

I've been slowly working between lunch breaks on mine. I converted mine from a SU-37 to the SU-27. It turned out better than expected! Should be painting it soon.

Got the maiden in yesterday. I'm using a LittleScreamers Park Jet motor (not the Super) and a 3S 1300 pack. Surprisingly, performance was not as good as with the F/A-18. I think I'll swap out the LSPJ for the Grayson and try a 2200 on it instead.

However, the maiden went off without a hitch and I did manage to get a couple flights in. It's every bit as aerobatic as the others, but the loops are not as tight as the F/A-18. That may change with the motor swap.

No video yet. I will wait until I change out the motors. Looks good in the air though!

Building from 8mm depron | Issue

Thanks tomhe for the excellent design!

I am building the SU 37 from 8mm depron. Can I maintain the same dimensions as the 6mm one and still fly it. I mean would there be any issues? Actually I cut out the tiled plans at 100% (meant for 6mm depron) but found that only 8mm depron is locally available in Pune (india).

Please advise

CG Location????

What would be the location of the CG in the quick build Su-37? I read in some post that its 4" behind the TE of the canards.
