park flyer transport/storage rack completed

Finally got it done! I can haul three planes and all flight gear to the field with one hand! The bottom tray is coroplast, the rest is 3/4" PVC with padding. I designed it in CAD and really had a blast with it. I have a second set of padded "arms" in case I want to carry a monoplane in the lower hanger. The bottom tray has a long velcro strip for keeping batteries and the transmitter secured. There are provisions for mini bungee cords to keep a plane on the top for transport, and the top perch serves as the service bay at the field. I am debating making the top section removable so I can put this in the back seat of my car (with two planes loaded on it). I use it for hangar storage too, just put it on top of my rollaway tool chest with planes loaded on it.. (don't laugh at my windsock )

Not enough space. You need more airplanes.

Gear Head,
What I see that you did different than most was to have a padded bar above the wing. Good move, helps to hold planes in place without having to tie them down.

I had the intention of making the planes stable when leaned back (as a dolly), hence the upper pads.
I need to post recent more pics, I've added the T-max wheels in the background of the picture as dolly wheels, 2 on an all-thread axle, a short end cap standoff to make the front level with the wheels installed, and made the top cradle removeable with hitch pins and couplers. I made a small frame for using the cradle on the benchtop, works awesome as a work stand and single plane tote (using those mini bungees). Ah yes, and lastly it looks much cooler with stickers on it.
