ok, closing in on the home stretch folks! a few more things left to take care of. Maiden is looking like thursday. my namiki pager motors came so I'll test those tomorrow.

wow... I actually finished. Did all of the linkages, painted the pilot, sealed everything up. AUW is 24 grams. With the batteries I have now, I can only get 14g of thrust. Tomorrow will have some pictures and hopefully video of the maiden!

Ok this is the official entry. Video forthcoming.
Auw - 24 grams
WS - 11"
Plantraco mini jst 4 channel
2 muscle wire servos
jetscream fan with stock motor
2 cell lipo - 110mah

thanks everyone! well I had the maiden, not the greatest thing. The cg was off by about an inch - too far forward. I could tell the plane had plenty of power, but it went straight down. I got some video but its so short. I'm gonna move the battery back and try again today if I can.

Did your paper fuselage survive the maiden (hope so)?

Thanks Mike - actually the tissue molding part of the process was by far the easiest part. Getting the electronics to fit in and the servos to work right was the hardest. It flew for about a second, I think my stab is tilted too much and its making the plane dive instantly... Will try more tests tomorrow.
