Innov8tive Designs will be introducing several new Scorpion Products!

Hello everyone,

Be sure to stop by the Innov8tive Designs booth (#214 & #216) to see the new Scorpion products! We will be introducing 3 new product lines at the show, and will have a limited number of each available for sale. The first is a re-designed version of the HK-2221 helicopter motors that have taken the heli world by storm. These new motors feature a new integrated blower fan for increased cooling, and improved internal materials for higher efficiency, combined with more torque and more RPM. Here is a shot of one of the new HK-2221-6 motors. It almost looks to good to put into a helicopter!

There are 4 models in this series, the 2600Kv 12-turn model, the 3000Kv 10-turn model, the 3600Kv 8-Turn model, and the 4400Kv 6-Turn model. These new motors have a retail price of $54.99 each

Also being introduced at the show will be a new series of 30mm helicopter motors that are specifically designed for the newer 500 and 550 class machines that are now being introduced. These new motors will be teh HK-3026 series, and there will be 4 different Kv values available: 1210, 1400, 1600 and 1900. Below is a photo of the 4 new motors. The 1580 motor shown in the photo is actually the 1600 Kv model. A few final tweeks got the RPM up a couple percent, so it is now a 1600. These motors have a retail price of only $74.99, making them an incredible value!

The last new product line is a series of 6-cell Brushless Speed Controllers that have a built-in Switching BEC circuit. The switching BEC can put out a continuous current of 3 amps, with bursts to 4 amps, and full power is available with any input voltage from 2 cells up to 6 cells. These new ESC's will be available in 30 amp, 45 amp, 60 amp, 90 amp, 120 amp and 180 amp models. The 180 amp models did not get done in time for the show, but we will have the rest available this weekend.

All of these new ESC's will come with the new Scorpion Wireless Programming System as seen below. This innovative new programming method is an industry first, and really simplifies the re-programming of your speed controller.

Here is a photo of one of the new 120 amp ESC's, and below that is the Infra-Red programming system. TO get an idea of size, the programmer is just a little bigger than a credit card, and the IR receiver board is just a little bigger than a postage stamp.

Prices on the new ESC will range from $99.99 for the 30 amp model to $179.99 for the $120 amp model. So these too represent an incredibly good value for this type of controller.

So be sure and stop by the Innov8tive Designs booth to check out these new items, and the rest of the great Scorpion and X-Caliber products.

See you there!
