Profile F-22 Video Build Log


This is a quick video of my latest plans built plane. It was designed by Tomhe.

The video says to not use a spar, but after several flight test a spar is highly recommend for rigidity.

Working on one now, would it be possible to power this plane with a gws EPS350C. Or am I going to need to wait until I can afford a brushless motor.

these jets are a blast on my 5th now. I have a perfect setup for cheap 2212-6 15 bucks at bphobbies
6x4 apc prop Will go verticle! awsome cheap power.

I think that setup requires a big prop to provide enough thrust. The prop cutout will only fit a 6X4. If you open the prop area up a little, then you can fit a 7x5, but that is the max. You can get a Grayson combo for 39.99 and that includeds a brushless esc.

What motor, esc, servos... Do you put on it and ehat equivalent in hobbyking.

Motor -- 2212-06 Suppo or equivalent
3S lipo (up to 2200)
30 amp esc
HXT 900 servos.

Then enjoy.

What motor? A 2212-06 with a 6x4 prop will move the plane 70 mph.
