Still laughing...thanks.

Yes, I meant gas box.
It sure makes timing motor runs accurate. huh?

I really need to get one....Even if I only use it for electric sailplane postals.

And I really need an automatic system for counting legs. (I hope an affordable one gets developed soon.)
Who knows?....F5B may still hold some interest around here yet.
It has always been my favorite.

The Dutch guy who is really putting some effort in back home has juist built his;

So soon there will be a fully functioning F5B timing system back home. Then i can finally move there and leave the English guys in piece.

I could use a fill of that.....

Bring your best game there buddie, cause I'll be armed and dangerous.

Rumor has it that I plan to put the hurt on you (and Jeff!) with a solid 42.5 legs.

Hey Eric, there is a stray 2 in your post there buddy.

It should read;

Rumor has it that I plan to put the hurt on you (and Jeff!) with a solid 45 legs.

okay, so my 42.5 didn't exactly put the hurt on anybody. ;-) ,but we had fun and Kris threw down a 43! -in trying conditions!!

or was it a 43.5? ;-)

We also had a few new faces show to see this craziness first hand, and a visit from the Australian Team Manager. Bruce was clearly on an espionage mission and interested in recruiting US talent. Steve waited till his cam cord batts were dead before realy showing his stuff and blowing everyone away in the last round.

Great day today!! Eric was a life saver by lending me his uber modified Georgi prop. Steve, Jeff, and Eric were all flying great, even with the conditions.

The taxi driver gave me a very strange look when I got in his cab with the Sportube and said "Take me to Seaworld!"

Bruce helped out with calling and provoked me into a 43.5. And yes, Australian rules dictates we count 1/2 legs

Hahaha, in Australia they count half legs as one. That's the only way they get above 40 down there.

But wait, since this is the internet, and you say 43, does that mean it actually was a 42.9 ?!

Glad you guy's had fun!

Is this it now for a long time or what? Have to wait for 2010 ?!

No one in North America is carrying them that I know of. You might be able to get soaring USA to order one for you. You can order them directly from Russia.

r/cmark,

Try sensing a PM or e-mail to any of the US guy's. I am sure they can set you up with either an e-mail address for Sergey or someone may be able to order one for you.

If this is your first F5B plane, maybe worth considering a used team member plane or getting a Surprise 14 from SUSA.
