The boat is not a Yamaha, it was just sponsored by Yamaha. It was designed by one of if not the best racing yacht designers in the world Bruce Farr among them was the Endeavour…
So, all you'd have to do is build one of your kits, make up some of those custom decals and make it a Suzuki! And then it'd be ok!

Thank you very much Crash, and we look forward to meeting up with some of your fellow pirates on our turf, I mean water. So any that haven't checked the first post, Crash has been kind enough to post the announcement of the 2013 Nirvana National Regatta to be hosted by the Asheville and Black Mountain Yacht Clubs, and racing on lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain, NC. on June 21, 22, 23. If you've never heard of Black Mountain, just find Asheville and look east 15 minutes. We hope to uphold the standard set by the Montgomery group and hope to see a few new skippers.

I am so glad to see a quality club once again stepping up to host this event.

Its a great boat, and these clubs, who do the thankless hours of work involved to host these events, keep the boat alive and well..

Thanks, men.

Yes...thanks for hosting this seabee...

...if I can be of any further assistance, just whistle...

I did a search of Lake Tomahawk and found some really nice pics of it...a very beautiful place to do this indeed.

I also did a search on the historical temperatures for that time of year and found that the avg high for June/July is between 79-83. Does that sound about right? Wow...it would be in the 90's here...

I look forward to this event and meeting up with everyone again...who knows I may bring the old war horse "War Eagle" out of retirement for this too.

BTW...where is she in that website pic....oh yes...so far out front that she is not in the frame...

With the news of the coming national event, this is the point each year that I like to bring out Crash's Racing strategy training video in the hope that those new to the Nirvana racing scene may become knowledgeable in Crash's time tested and wining techniques on how to win every race! If you haven't seen this training video you will find it highly educational and after watching less than a minute, you will understand how Crash has become so successful at wining races!

Enjoy -
