Thanks DW, I just browsed their website, and it looks great.
Don't know why I haven't heard about this before.

I've gotta say the Vulture is a "one of a kind". Really enjoy the pictures!
Looks like some very good sailing was going on there!

I like Foots boat nice clean look to it, and the red stripe is a nice touch.

Foots boat reminds of the white pearls my Mom used to wear. She'd always say "they went well with everything, and were very tasteful.

White boats look good on the water, guess that is one of the reasons there are so many of them - they go with almost anything too!

Thanks. I really like this boat!

Lots of weather helm to correct for, but easily done with the trim tabs on my DX6i. Then, she tracks true and strait.

Raked back the main for the higher winds, but the main sail pocket doesn't really change. Is there a more flexible sail material?

Man you make me homesick.Sailed the pond allot. Watch that far corner away from the fountain going up towards the musem you can get a cross wind there. It happened to me and it stalled the Victor Stars and Stripes boat and shook down the sails. That's how I know how deep it is. Had to go wading.

Sailing in Oakboro NC

This past week has been the 2012 Model Warship Combat Inc Nationals. The battling has been fierce with the "Axis" team winning the week.

So what does this have to do with Nirvanas? Welp, Wednesday is usually a day off so to speak with zero large fleet battles scheduled. Usually, small ships will battle ... and other ships can sail. Which is what I did with a Nirvana.

No Nirvanas were harmed in the making of these pictures. Heh.
