Received my new Nirvana! Now, on with the build. If there are any known modifications, any advise would be appreciated.

The best suggestion I can make would be to take the time to read this thread from the begining. Seems like a lot of reading but by the time you are finished you will be an authority on the Nirvana and gotten to know many of the super guys that have participated on the thread.

Good advice. That really applies to planes, as well.

Anyway, very light wind today prevented a full shakedown, but I did notice that the boom vang was catching on the top of the keel board, which prevented broadreaching on starboard. That I can fix with a little filing.

I think it is hearsay, since I haven't actually seen a purple Nirvana, much less one that is faster than a yellow boat.

Well, hill billy logic would say that since the red and blue boats absorb more sunlight than the yellow one it would make them a lot heavier!!!
