I'm considering doing the same thing. I found a universal mount that I think will work. It lets you mount the motor either in back or in front on the mount. Here's the link for it. What battery are you using? I was wanting to go to a 3s lipo to give mine more power but they won't fit.

That just drops right in. All the 3s I've seen are to wide. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Yea any the lipo is really cheap too. And if you get that bp-18 motor from Unitedhobbies you can get the lipo there too. Here is the lipo's URL.

It's flying great, just needs a lot of runway to build up speed. I just got back from flying it in about a 4 - 5 mph breeze and it did fine. The wind didn't seem to affect it at all. A friend is going to loan me a .Rocket 400' motor to try. Hopefully that will boost the torque but I will need to go to a 6x3 prop because of the higher rpms.

The Rocket is a brushed motor. It's supposed to be a drop in for a 380 but with more power. Thanks for the link on the lipo. That lipo is only a 650 mAh. How long can you fly on that?

No that one is a 860mAh. I flys for a good amount of time.
