6' Telemaster as an FPV plane


I'm trying to figure out what would be a perfect airplane for FPV'ing that I could take off and land with goggles.

I was considering the 6' Telemaster from Hobby Lobby. It looks like it might be a great stable plane with lots of cargo area.

Has anyone used this or heard anything about the stability of this plane?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a stable FPV plane that I can use to takeoff and land with goggles on?

I'd say pretty much any plane out there, but will maybe restrict to any beginner one

I think the telemaster would be great. Doesn't Jettpilot fly one? or was that someone else?

The Senior 8 foot Telemaster is my Next FPV Plane. I want to do this for some Jettpilot flights! Strait out 5 miles then turn around and come back. I will give you details when I start ordering everything.

I ordered the 6' Telemaster with the recommended AXI motor on the Hobby Lobby site. Will that motor have enough power for everything?

MY GOD Jeff!!!

That is a good set of pictures of the plane to show off the amount of room inside!!! I like getting ideas from that!! At the moment I'm tempted to design a telescopic fuse with large wings, large flaps, bent wing tip and with a what I call nose dome.

I like the idea of the motor and prop being up high and out of the way and using the nose for the camera pod "nose dome" as jmstech put it. very cool. How does the thrust line change flight characteristics?
