Looks cool. Plus it looks like you modified a slow stick 'frame' as the fuse.. Is the rest of it foam board?

That's coming together nicely. I'd like to do a project like this, I may have to start collecting parts .

Here see if this helps. Sorry for the water marking on the graphic but I've had some issues with Chinese kit makers stealing my plans and making a quick buck off of them. Some of the original idea came from my first FPV plane Aerosodle. Qrome had a good idea with his QTB plane over in the AP forum.

The front one has a slot for the boom to go into. You then bolt the boom into place on the front boom holder. The back boom holder just holds things in place. I guess I could draw out a more detailed boom holder if everyone was interested.

Looks good! You might want to put some plywood around where your booms attach for a bit of extra strength, if the wing doesnt have a lot of ply in there to start with.

i agree, definatly strengthen up those boom's. looks like it's going to be fun. I just built a p-38 lightning. thinking of throwing one of our extra fpv set on it. i want to fly it first though. stupid winter is ruining all our fun

is there any specific advantage in using twin booms? or is just to have some space for a push motor?

The motor is mounted very close to the CG. The prop is between the twin booms. It helps cut down on weight IMHO... If EDF was a bit more efficient I'd pick one up, mount the fan slightly behind the CG, and go with that.. I have a fan from an old EDF plane.. It's just finding the time to build out a new plane for the Fan! *The time!! The time!!*

It would be nice if there was a EDF BL outrunner(maybe there is ). I put my FPV gear in my Twister EDF and I loved the sound it makes through the headphones. Made it seem like I was really flying fast .
