Axi 2203 or Hacker A10-9L?

I'm ready to install a motor on my Aito, and it doesn't look like it will be easy to swap it after installing. Anyone have any comparison data between the Axi 2203 and the Hacker A10-9L?

A10-9L will give a bit more power than the 2203/46. It's also 2 grams heavier, but that weight includes the fiberglass mount. With the Axi, you will need to add a mount, so the total weight comes out about the same.

Seth, what prop are you running on that 7L? I have one as well, and its much happier on a GWS 7x3.5 HD. Using the 8x4 it pulls too many amps.

The A10-9L is much better suited to a GWS 8x4 DD prop.

I build a divo with a 9L and flew it with 9x3.8 just fine on two cells.

AXI on 2 cells

Hi
I use the AXI with 8x4,2 GWS or 8x3,8APC it works great on 2S350 Flightpower. I even got same grams of my AXI by same work with my "dremel"

Hello ! I'm fly only Axi 2203/46 + GWS 8x4 / 8x4.3 in indoor model 130-160gram, in 2s 300mah flight time is : 7-8min and 2s 460mah 10-11min hard 3D. Really more power to fast vertical fly und hover in half trotle. And weight is true ( 19grams ). Best regards Krzysiek.

I think that the best configeration for the aito is the AXI 2204\54.
The AXI 2203 will be too small and powerless

I use an 8x6 per Andrew Jesky . . . maybe I will try the 7x3.5 HD. What about a 7x3.5 DD?

Same prop. Sometime they're called "Hyperdrive (HD)" props, and sometimes they're called "Direct Drive (DD)".

I have a Hacker A10-9L and with an 8x3.8 you can't go wrong. What about the new Hyperion Z1705 or Z1709? I have a Z1709 on order. Specs are looking good.

Ruff? I agree! Is it worth the effort to save those few milligrams? It must have better cooling I presume.

I just flew my 5 oz Yak 55 with a Hacker A10-9L. I am running a GWS 8x4.3 SF prop with a 2 cell TP 350 mAh battery and this thing rocks. I hover at about 1/3 throttle and the punch outs are ballistic. The performance of the A10-9L would be hard to beat.
