I have no comment on the EB kits, however after participating in 3 of the 6 or so EB kit runs... I believe the EB program should be done away with in favor of full resources applied to get the main run of kits onto US and UK soil faster.

This J-10 production has come around very fast, and I am proud of GWS for doing so. It means more to me than an Early Bird program.

At every one of my past EB purchases, I just didn't feel fulfilled enough to justify anything more than $30 extra shipping charge.

So Even if the EB kits comes late, there is a free lunch from GWS

Only EB get free motor to reward they support GWS so much!

EB kits with high power motor were EMS a few days ago.

So, EB will receive J-10 NPS with free motor soon. Except some one they choice give up free motor!

Did the Caliber kits go out with the older version inrunner?

Even still, it's a shame that I would most likely be able to pick one up at the AMA Convention tomorrow before I even get my EB shipping notice. If this will be the trend I may also skip on future EB offerings as Caliber will most likely get them at the same time or earlier.

New 4th Gen. motor just done a few days ago.

The J-10 in container do not come with new motor.

The new motor had many add on cost. GWS will consider to rise up this 4th Gen. new motor price to be $60. This new motor just go with EB kits to be on the road.

I hope the new motor in the EB J-10 I get lasts longer than the one in my EB A-4 kit . On 3rd flight 3 min. into the flight,it quit mid flight, dead stick landing. The motor smoked ,fan housing melted ,rotor might be reuseable. The setup was stk. fan balanced , 75amp Align ESC,med timing , 2 - 3s 2250 25c loogmax batteries in parallel 11volts 40-42 amps 480-460 watts .Flies so nice! I need a new motor and fan housing.Anybody know were I can get one ?

The one I got at the IMS / AMA show in Ontario was w/o motor. I have a WeMoTec Minifan 480 with a Het-RC 25-2W on 6S for it, so I will do some testing with it in the plane soon.

The 30cm^2 intake looks a bit on the small side for a 69mm fan, with a longish intake duct. I hope to close that gaping cheater hole completely.

More pictures of mine here:

The Mail man left a notice of my EB J-10 . I did not hear him . I will have to go to the post office to pick it up on Monday now. Do I put the fan from the J -10 in the A-4 so I can fly it, or hurry and build the J-10 to fly???

Well, I have had so many items going thru Customs that the officer usually calls me when there is something that I need to go to claim. Anyway, I didn't wait for his call and called him instead. He said the item has bee released and I will get it tomorrow thru the usual delivery system, or I can come to pick it up immediately.

Well, what do you think I did? I was in front of him within 5 minutes!

Uh... now how do I sneek it into the house without alerting the missus?
