Annoying people since 1970 :)
Unfortunately I ordered one from another retailer who are now waiting for them. I'll see if I can cancel my order and try RB. I'm not in that much of a rush though as just getting time to fly this time of year is a miracle!

well thought i'd put up some pics of my j-10 now the paint scheme is pretty much done. wanted a scheme that had a military twang but nice and visible.

Might add some bombs but that can wait. Quite pleased with how the rudder mod came out!

Unfortunately I don't know when I'm going to get a chance to maiden her - I'm off to do an a319 type rating starting on tuesday (WHOOOOOOOOOP!!!!) but that's going to write off the next 7 weeks of my life!

Nice paint job. I'm looking to do my next one in a red and black scheme...if you don't mind I think I'll base it on yours. Cheers.

Makes it look much more like a Typhoon for some reason. I like it!

Anyone has any issues with the supplied motor? I am running 3S1P 2200mah with a Align 60A ESC. I keep the flight time to 3min. First flight out, the magnet in the motor came off within 2 mins during the maiden flight and I had to do a very nere wrecking maiden flight emergency landing without power.

I changed the motor and the 2nd motor lasted 7 flights and the same thing happen again! 2 motor in one weekend.

Attached is a video of the last flame out of the 2nd motor. Had to do a deadstick emergency landing straight after circling the field twice.

Love the aircraft but the motor doesnt last. Mr Chen, any comments and advise on support on the motor?

Sorry for the bad video. taken with mobile phone by friend

Woohoo! My J-10 is here, and so is the rediculously cold weather
Looks quite big in comparison to my other planes but at least I'll be able to see it!

Hey folks,

I just published an Ezone review of the J-10, so y'all might be interested in it.

Here's the link: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=821407

Enjoy!

Great review, I hope mine has a little more zip with my intended setup but this is a big plane so I'll be pleased if it's over 70mph. I have my F-16 if I want fast but a quick J-10 would be good!
As my wings will not be removed I'll just epoxy them on with some carbon stubby rods and not bother with the GWS fixings. With no landing gear, rudder and minimal paint I'm hoping for under 30oz's. Do you think that's possible using 2250mah 4 cell Loon Max's?
