Some particular reason? I'm sure the servo cutouts are in the proper position for best linkage geometry as well as to obtain the proper CG. You'll find most production foamies have these pre-cut.

Ahh ok, makes sense. Yes, I find that annoying also. I just make some depron shims to make them fit better.

I believe all the servo slots from Fancy Foam are cut for the D47

Photos don't look anything like Gernot's plane. See photos of Gernot with plane at E-TOC. What's up?

Is this an 08 Model, that Gernot will fly as his contest plane. That would explain the difference.

F3P, Slap, IMAC, Helis
the yak is his freestyle plane. The picture you have is his pattern plane.

Bubba Gump,

I appologize, you are right! I just took a look at his freestyle video and the plane looks just like the new FancyFoam plane. Cool!

Will there be an introduction of the Gernot F3P plane.

Robert,

Gernot's ETOC 07 pattern plane is already produced in a slightly different, smaller version. It's called a Spark and is available from MSComposit.

I was looking at a German website selling both the Yak and the F3P plane on Thursday or Friday and I can't find it now. This was in work so I can't use my browser history to find it until the new year. I think I found it originally from a link posted on one of the threads here but can't find that either. Does anyone know what site I'm talking about?

The MS composite Spark plane isn't a true F3P plane, and isn't really advertised as such. I had hoped it would be like Gernot's, and ordered one.

I would consider it to be a good 3D shock flyer, but the flight characteristics don't compare with the Clik!, Manta, Vrolet, or other true F3P planes.

Yep, and that's why Gernot is the only one who we've seen fly it. His was a good bit larger and he changed a lot of the design compared to the MS Composit plane. Both models are actually based off of the 2-meter Spark outdoor pattern airplane.
