HP 21 VT Rotary valve 4-stroke classic

This is an Austrian made HP 21 four stroke with rotary valve technology. I have several of these in the 21 and 49 class and I love the way they run. This is an extra one I have so Im thinking of giving someone else the pleasure of ownership! Quiet as a mouse. No valves to adjust. I would rate this motor a 10 out of 10. A true collectable.

$125 shipped CONUS

Merry Christmas!

NIB or used? Bushing head or bearing head?

Thanks

Not NIB, but you would be hard pressed to tell it has been run. I have bench run it back when I aquired it to ensure its function. Smalll amount of residue on the INSIDE of the muffler. Havent pulled it down to see if it has been updated so I am going to assume it is the original bushing head.

Thanks for the good questions

Thanks. That's a good price - especially for an original Austrian version. I'm seriously considering it.

I appreciate you sayin that. I got two of them for a decent price a while back and I can help pay it forward. I dont buy and sell like some, but I have tons of stuff I dont use and I need to fund a giant scale Meister Corsair.

hp 21

what sort of prop would this turn? Could I use it in a plane that wanted a 25 two stroke?

This is a 21 size. They seem to really like bigger props with less pitch so a 9x4 or a 10x4. I run a 12x4 on my 49 and it loves it. Flys my 4*40 great.

Thanks for lookin...Merry Christmas to everyone!

I once flew a friends Sig J3 that had one of these .21's on it. I don't know what it weighed, but it handled and looked about like a real Cub with the whopping 40 HP they came with originally.

Good luck, and Merry Xmas!
