Looks like a Brooklyn Aerodrome "Towel", but what did you use for the wing material?

Yeah, right? Amazing how much easier it is to photograph rods with a slow shutter speed at night under a lamp post! Really hard to get them during the day with a fast shutter speed. Easier with video, however. In fact, with video, you can see how the rods pass between dimensions, fading in and out of our reality.

Almost as bad as "ghost orbs." Make sure you shoot with a strong flash in a dusty environment. That's the best way to attract the "ghosts."

That stuff makes me wish there was an emoticon rolling his eyes even more than this one: That just doesn't seem quite sarcastic enough.

OK, enough off-topic discussion.

BTW, I think that flying in the dark under lights or with a spotlight is referred to as "Red Neck night flying." Hey, whatever works!

Well it *is* Arkansas.

But to fully understand what we're talking about.. That is 1800 watts of metal halide stadium lights. We've had planes as large as an Addiction-X flying. Personally I still like LEDs, but it's nice to be able to invite the whole club out for a night-fly rather than the 6 of us that have night planes.

Very cool pic. I really like the lit up propeller and the fly-through in the background. I'd love to have a group to night fly with. I bet you guys have a blast.

Cheap LED strips!

I just ordered more light strips from Hobbyking (USA warehouse) and they sent me a discount code to get white and blue strips for only $3.51! So I thought I would share:
