Here there are three of us and sometimes my brother drives down to make it four.
Often we fly at the same time each of us but just a few blocks apart, it adds to the drama and wonder from onlookers.

And we never crash into each other that way.
For some reason we've had more than the normal amount of midair collisions whilst flying at night from the same spot.

Nothing a ladder and a fishing pole couldn't retrieve.
It's just me so far

Played around with some 30 second exposures. This one came out best, wish we got the top of the loop.

Actually, I think it looks more balanced without the top.

I ordered some lights from commonsense for the slow stick. I'm finding that by the time I get off work its too dark to fly and I need some nav lights.

Actually, my brother just got new cabinets. We're looking at using 10 meters of white for his under cabinet lighting. It's nice and bright, has good distribution of light and it can be dimmed. A lot better than halogen puck lights if you ask me! Cheaper, too.

wow, now those lights look good. They may not fly but LEDs look good.

My entertainment center was a complete win. Every other solution I found for adding light to the piers was quite a bit more expensive than the LEDs. I have about 1.5 meters total and a small DC power supply... Whole deal cost me like $25.

And, in case it wasn't obvious, we don't have power at our flying field so the LEDs were really our only option. Between the LEDs and the home-made wood stove, flying at night has become much more enjoyable.
