You will really like this plane. Is that a 3000 motor? it will do much better with a 1500Kv motor and a 800Mah 2cell batt. Mine flys like a dream. I took a carbon fiber flat piece and glued it to the bottom and it wont tear the foam on landing.

It's the 1500kv motor. Good idea with the carbon strip. How much wind can these handle?

i had 2 .125 carbon tubes. 1 on the middle of the underside of the wing and 1 you can see in the photo on the lower part of the fuselage. The tubes were big enough that i'm only going to use 1 on each side. Most builds i've seen have 1 on each side but they're .060 or so. Hope that helps.

Appreciate

Your response. If i understand correctly u are using one tube in the bottom half of fuse, and one tube in the wing-perhaps around the center of gravity. Goodwinds kites has the .125 tubes in 32"- perfect for the wing (32"). Will also get a few strips when i finally put in an order. Thanks for the help, jim

Got everything semi assembled. Installed control rods and glued the tail. I'll get pictures of that shortly.
