Cheers Dick,
I think the chances of it sailing very well are limited, it has been more of "lets see if I can do it" rather than "I'm gonna build a race winner" I have never raced a rc yacht of any type and only sailed one a couple of times. I have an interest in the sport because I love my dinghy racing and have a rc yacht pond close to me and I have seen 10 or so IOMs race. I just wanted to have somthing I could put on the water and maybe have a go.
I got the fittings from Peter Wiles at PJ sails, I found out he lives just down the road and has been a great source of info. The blocks have PJ stamped into them. they are ballraced and seem nice.
Really looking forward to getting it wet, I ordered my mast and ballast today so not long now
