James you must have legendary status. You were called out by name by ye fellow pilots up north that didn't know you moved to SF.

A bunch of us might just have to car pool it up there in your honor We miss ya down here.

Wondering if you have a scroll saw ( I have one ), or what other workshop stuff ya got, or if there is something someone could bring if needed. As an example, I could bring my scroll saw if needed.
Bob, I have a band saw, but no scroll saw, so if you'd like to bring one that'd be great.

Also............would there be any objection from anyone to my wife coming and her repairing her Wind Drifter?
She's a cool easy going chic. She wanted me to ask, just to make sure she wouldn't make anyone feel uncomfortable, like 'invading' guy time or whatever, lol.
No objection at all...the more, the merrier! Wish I could interest my wife in the hobby!

I still need to do some tidying up but I'm looking forward to Build Night!

Cool alright well I'll bring my scroll saw to build night next Wednesday night.

You said you have enough folding tables and plenty of folding chairs?

I have a square wooden folding table I can bring, but folding chairs I have are the beach / camping type.

So we'll be BBQing hamburgers?

I'll bring a 12 pack of Coke & a 12 pack of Sprite.

My wife will be repairing her Wind Drifter & I'm not sure yet what I'll be bringing to work on.

Does anyone that will be attending know a good way to repair the wing tips of mouldies?

Bob

San Diego Build Space

So I cleaned up the garage...finally! Now Iím really motivated to build something!

Here are some pics. I can pull out folding chairs as needed.

Justin had the idea of pizza delivery and to me that sounds the easiest. Iíll have a cooler with ice and beverages.

Wow looks like a fantastic build night workshop!
I might want to start going to the San Diego build night and the Orange County build night.

My daughter is starting UC San Diego this fall so I kind of consider myself both San Diego & Orange County Sloper now.

I'm happy to be the pizza deliverer. Let me know what kind of pizzas. I'm a pepperoni person.

I think I can probably help with moldie wingtip repair bob. Gonna need some foam (I got it), glass/carbon cloth, resin, mylar or other plastic film, and some contrasting or matching color paint.

I'm betting ward will know how to do it a lot better though!

We tried really hard to kite that little guy in the past.

It is extremely challenging actually....

The jelly pilots come over all excited about that thing too.

It is really neat to see.

Right up there with my RC seagull.
