I do believe the first Sloper should be made out of EPP.

wing shape no big deal? It seems most of the slope planes use a plank wing. It was planning on something like the kfcrossbow, but the pushy cat is already on the build list......

you would need a stiff breeze for this one.

It'll fly much better and be more fun under power, imo.
You can find RTF slopers that folks sell in the Sailplanes For Sale/Wanted forum.
You can even put up a wanted ad with what you would like. Someone usually has it for the right price...

...especially to get someone new hooked. Muaaahahahahaha

Fly it on a slope with the motor and then shut the motor off and if it slopes then you'll know how much wind you need. Then slope with the prop off.

Looks like it will do great.

Ok.
I'll start with something destroyable like the Crossbow, build my Pushy Cat ( dumb name, cool aircraft, european...) like I was planning on (300-350watts for a 25-30 oz plane) and give it a try.
Thanks

I would build the pushcat with the motor and get some thing else (moth) for the slope. I can't count the number of times I wish I had a cool E-Plane to fly on the no wind days. Dave's Beach is a real good place to fly e-planes as long as they are not too loud.

I'm more of an opportunistic flyer. I've got a handful of spots around Alpine and Lakeside where I can dive into and fly to my hearts content and not bother anyone. All my stuff is electric, so it's all quiet. If I'm driving to the beach, I'm gonna surf . When I build my Sloper, I'll probably fly after surf...
