Stay in it!!!!
The aluminum molds need to be maintained at a constant temperature for the entire process or the parts will pop loose from thermal expansion/contraction.

Stopping by the AMA show!
Thought it would be nice to let those who have never seen the D160 in person to have a peek. #4 is now at the AMA convention in the static model area. Have a look.

Very cool Joe. She looks great! Is she fully rigged or just the airframe?

No way that pics can convey how big this thing really is ... It's in the orca class, I thought, when I saw it in person. Really awesome. Maybe put up a guest book for guys to comment on after seeing it.

It does look pretty small in the pics. Check this one out.

In person, this thing looks really big up on that stand. I need some people standing around it or something.

One of the most impressive shots of the D160 is an early one where it was next to your pickup. Everybody can judge the actual size of that beauty when its next to something everybody can relate to size wise.

Even after seeing just about all the pics ever posted of the D160, (ever.. yeah, I dig it!) walking in the same room with the wing was a shocker. I was looking for the blowhole I think the guys who make it to AMA and see it for the first time up close will dig it too.

It rocks

This is one hell of a project! Blows me away every time I update.

I guess you are sticking with mass balanced surfaces? Or a ship load of Hitec servos on the flying surfaces?

That thing is by far the coolest thing I've ever seen. And I seen one of ur D80's today Jo, B E Utiful by far the the strongest wing I've ever tried to break, I mean bend. I think a D60 is next on my list.
500 is not far away with that giant.
