Hello RCGroupie,

Thanks for your compliments.

The bellows you mention, you can get them from Engel or you can use the seals from Norbert Bruggen

And look for this

They are a better (read, long live time) sulution but the aligment is critical.

The bellows Engel use are not critical at all,
Suggestion fill the bellows completly with vaseline grease, they last very long then, I have also the Lafayette

From Engel with also these bellows for 5 years now with out any problems.

I hope you can do something with this information.

Greetings,

Jan.

First sea trail this year

Hello everybody,

Last weekend it was very nice weather so I toped off the battery's of the Flying Fish and let her swim

And after some adjustments of the lead and trimming (after the weathering job) and even that small amount of paint has its effect on the trim.

But here some photo's.

At the high seas

Have fun and till next time,

Greetings from Holland,

Hello all,

I have done a little work at the stanchions around the Bofors guns on the upper decks, I noticed on e few photo that on the lower part of the stanchions nets are attached.

They do that to prevent hitting the lower deck crew by the shells of the Bofor guns because those gunes pushes there shells out the gun forwards.

And when the lower deck crew is fighting with there gun's its not amusing to be hit by your own air gun crew.

So I ad those nets now to my Sub.

So its growing and growing, next the TDC on the aft part of the Bofors aria.

Greetings,

Hi Tim,

Welcome in this old tread

If you ask me and you do I advice you to buy the new board as the old one is not that good of a design, it will fry your board when putting a signal at the up and down inputs at the same time. And the end limit switches are also critical to adjust.
So I suggest to purchase the new board.

Kind regards,
