I have the same covers, of course. I read in the first MG thread that Gary couldn't use the stock servo covers with his D60 that's why hey went out and bought the aftermarket ones. When I say stock it's the ones that came with the model (OEM), The ones you show in the picture. Gary, Could you clear this up, Whether or not the "stock" servo covers fit over the D60's or not.

Torcman motor will fit even without making any holes Only a 3mm plywood dics between motor and firewall is needed to allow wires go freely. Torcman is heavy - 300 g, that worried me and others how CG would come. It seems now that about 20 - 30 g of ballast is needed in tail to achieve correct CG.

Should I make cooling holes in nose cone? Do you have?

I'm 95% sure that 18 cells will fit, I had 10 cells to play with and to study CG. In January I can be sure when cells should arrive from Mamo.

Tail servos - Ripmax SD 150 seems to be winner there. (? opinions ?)
Wing servos - Volz Micro Maxx -X, did you attach them using those mounting sets? or just glueing? Would the aluminium mounting plate go through from the servo hole?
Does anybody have experience about Graupner C3341? that would be an option for flaps.

This MG thread enjoys huge interest and activity! Thank you everybody who posted. I'll keep on spamming my progress

Joni

The ones I received were a few mm's too narrow at the "bump" for my D60's.

Joni,

If the motor is that heavy you are going to have fun getting the CG correct with 18 cells. Good luck!

I do not have any cooling holes on my plane. Motor runs are fairly short.

Merry Christmas to you and to all the gang here on this thread.

Gary, I take it you got the same servo covers in Gordons picture.

They appear to be the same.
