forgot pic

I added this decal to the nose of mine, I also recovered the top in the matching blue, and put two white stripes on each side. It's kind of generic, but is better then the "Tango" decal. Anyone else opt for a different scheme, or recovered their's?????????? Let's see your creativity!

Had a tango and it bit the dust. The blocks holding the rudder servo came off and into the ground the plane went, you all know what crazy things this bird does with the rudder so you may understand. Anyway i called up horizon and they said to send it in and they would get another one to me. i think i might let the saito 82 sit this one out this time and put on an mds 58. I have a set of floats that i need to finish up to throw on it. I think it would be a blast. I also have an extra wing so i was thinking about putting some winglets on it to get some of the roll with rudder out of it

Yes That looks simular to mine!! I slamed in on the first flight , went home rebuilt. The second flight I lost my wing at about 100 ft!, it took forever for the wing to float back down , the fus came back way to fast! It seamed to have tons of power with a 46os

I guess it was my fault.I had beat it up pretty good that day and never took the wing off to check anything.. I guess it was a pricey lesson to learn..

do you guys think that this plane has too short of a moment for floats? I was thinking about this today at work that it might make it snap pretty easy

winter tango

My Tango flies great on skis, Tiger Shark .52, 11/5 prop, thinking of trying floats I have plans for the Clancy tail dragger floats made out of foam.

Well, I maidened my Tango about 2 weeks ago and it was rather uneventful. The takeoff was quite easy with gentle rudder management with -50% expo. The landings are even easier..... next best thing to a helicopter. I am running an Irvine Q.72 with a 13x6 APC. I will be trying a 14x4 MAS next. This plane is not lacking any power, that is for sure. Unlimited vertical... gets out of sight very quickly.
Compared to my F22 Raptor that I have been flying off and on for the past couple years.... this Tango is a treat.
I also took the decal off the top of the wing as I did not like the look of it.

Howdy Folks, not sure if this thread is dead or not. I built a Tango with the Evo .46 and she's a real sweet heart. Iíve flown her twice and am now currently installing some floats. I think this is going to be an excellent float plane. Iíve posted a post at the other forum that is universal:
General Tango

Tango Seaplane

Let me know what you think.

I got hold of a OS fs-70 surpass and took out my .46 AX from the Tango... Now if I could get it to balance.... any suggestions?

FS-70 = 22.1 oz plus it sits 1/4" further out.
.46AX = 17.2oz

I had my 4cell rx battery as far in the tail as I can shove it but it still needs more
