My F-18 HORNET XXL Blue Angels PARKJET


Hey guys...I started build of my big F-18 Hornet, wingspan 1200 mm...I will add pictures each day...Here are some pictures...You can see, when I am now...Martin

Martin, your build looks like it's coming along nicely, the edf you have set in there looks too small for the size of this bird. What's the fan size?

No fear :-) It is a 65mm with MEGA AC 16/15/2 and 3S1P 3200mAh Lipol, my friend have the same size F-15 and this is good, BUT just, if it is to 1,5 Kg weight...

Oh yes, but i think so, if my calculations of power are great, it will fly perfect as F-15 in the same size, which have my friend...If no then i have to buy new motor and will be pusherjet...

That fuselage is so big you could probably run a prop inside it!

Wow! Maybe there is even room for two of those EDF units?

It will be almost 2 meters long...But i think, pusher into the fuselage is not good...

Hey...Yes, there is place for two EDF units but i don´t have money for a second unit, I am so glad, that i can make this with one EDF...

Today´s new pics...


Today I made elevators with dynamic trims...And then I gave there conector pipe, material carbon...I find that EDF is longer as can be...see pics...

No fear, this fan is good for this big plane but have to be weight to 1,5 kg...
