BT Corona RTR with many carbon and aluminum upgrades(price reduced)
I no longer have use for this helicopter because I am in college and in need of the money. I bought the Corona used in March 2005, and flew it only for that summer. It was never flown after 2005 because I was afraid of crashing it and did not have the funds to replace broken parts.
The helicopter is in excellent condition and only shows signs of traditional wear on the canopy. This chopper has never been in a serious crash, only an occasional boom strike or tip-over. After the purchase I rebuilt and upgraded many of the parts. I replaced the motor and the receiver, and only flew it a dozen times afterwards before putting it into storage. I also added a lot of upgrades from Ballistic Technology as listed below. These upgrades improved the stability and handling tremendously.
The helicopter was stored for almost two years, but I periodically started it up to make sure everything was still in working order. I performed a range test and everything is in perfect working order. The one problem I can note is that the transmitter will most likely need a new battery because the battery light is on continuously. A replacement can be purchased at tower hobbies for $23.
I have kept logs for the batteries including all cycling information for the two batteries I purchased. Each battery was used fifteen times, so they are practically new. I recently cycled the batteries (discharge-charge) and they both held a full charge.
