So, I'm starting a pool, $2 for the correct day for DAF's Mig ready for paint. I'm guessing by Saturday evening before dinner.
DAF you cannot participate or give B.G. JM the answer to split the pool with him...

You had a Nor'easter blow in didn't you DAF. I hate snow.
But that is one sweet looking 86! Glad to hear she is a tame beast. I'm going to start mine after one more fg fuse experiment for practice. Nut and I are doing a little overkill, 1/8 scale, 55" ws. Going to be a monster.
Good luck with the maiden( as if you need it).

Thanks J, the 55"ws will be huge and you will have a good time detailing it.

Yes,the snow came down like the dickens this morning, I flew the big F-86 Sun before the storm and the field only had less than 6" inches of snow and I could get in it fine...now I need to wear boots for this weekend if I fly.

The F-86 is my favorite of this era. About 7 yrs ago, I was coming home from a business trip to Birmingham, Alabama and next to the airport was a small air museum. On a pedistal outside was the F4 Phantom (now thats a big airplane) and in shop was a un-restored F-86 and a Mig-15 side by side. The curator let me sit in both of them.....that was quite a thrill for me!

That does sound cool. Would love to sit in both. Have you got the MIG cut out yet?

FJ
The 55" will be more than 60 oz, more like 80 I would expect.

DAF,
Do you have any plans for the F-86 you just built? I'm interested in building one and the mig-15(as soon as beanie releases the plans)..Right now i'm working on Hans J 141% F-16....

Mike, I used one I found on the internet, which I like because it had 7/8 fuse formers. I just went to kinos and had them blown up. It cost about $6 bucks or so.
